Why We Gather
Work it Out Wednesday was born out of the truth that Black men carry much—and rarely have space to put it down. This is that space. Not to fix or be fixed, but to feel, to speak, to witness, and to transcend.
Through breathwork, storytelling, movement, and food, we come together in community to metabolize what life gives us. We don’t perform here—we arrive.
“What we do in circle doesn’t just heal the man. It heals the community.”

🕯️ Opening Grounding
We arrive in silence and breath. Each guest is invited to settle, root, and release the noise of the world.
🎶 Somatic Sound
We begin with a rhythm, beat, or vibration—something to remind us we are more than words.
🗣️ Check-In Circle
One by one, we speak. Not to fix. Just to feel. To be witnessed in our truth, unmasked and uninterrupted.
📖 Theme Practice
Each week we center on a theme—grief, joy, legacy, boundaries—and explore through dialogue and somatic awareness.
💬 Collective Reflection
What emerged? What was held? What’s worth carrying forward? We close in reflection, not resolution.
